Alluste / Tunnels in Time-Space
It is claimed by some that Berlin School music is too ‘mechanical’ and without passion or emotion. This is not something I have ever believed but Alluste is proof that this certainly does not have to be the case. Sure, nearly every track is dominated by sequences but there is also a tenderness and warmth to his music that is a joy to listen to. What is more there isn’t too much darkness here (which is strange as all his albums have space as an inspiration), instead there is a positive and uplifting vibe throughout.
